New Idea Book is coming....
I am sooo excited after seeing the new Idea Book for Autumn/Winter and you will be too. Close To My Heart continues to amaze in the creativity department and I can't wait to share this new Idea Book with you in September. I will be scheduling an Open House the first part of September so you can see and touch all the new papers and fun things. Stay tuned!

Birthday Shape Swap Card
This is the inside of the card above. I used mulberry paper. Glitter markers by copic too.
I was able to make this lovely card with fun stuff from my pal Dedelicious (Denice). My niece loves Hello Kitty. I did creative cuts on the fold and then folded them down. You cut two lines like this: \\ when it is folded about 1/2 inch apart. When you open the fold it would look like this: //\\ except it would meet at the top. Fold the triangle down to get this folded look.

Custom Crops All Day Crop!!!
On my recent trip to Chicago I met up with my SparkPeople friend Denice Bartucci at Custom Crops! We had the time of our life! There was every Cricut cartridge that they make available to use along with at least 5 Cricut machines. Every tool they make was available for us to try to see if we wanted to buy. Too much fun!

My Craft Room
This is where I create! I have my computer nearby to print and alter photos, journal, etc. Plus it is my music player and TV as well.
I like to keep all my tools handy. Making Memories carousel and Close To My Heart Stamp Pad Organizer.
As you can see I like to have a place for everything so that when I need it I can find it! I am pretty meticulous about putting my stuff away when I am done using it, but have been known to have everything out at once if I am working on a big project.
I even have a couch for people and puppies to hang out with me or to take a nap....This is my favorite room in the house!

2009 Calendar in Progress.....
Okay so I had this great idea to make a calendar for 2009 and scrap the whole thing. I did January, February and March and then realized how much work this was becoming. Sooooo...I decided to buy a calendar that already had the basic calendar stuff done and I would add the number, months, weeks info and just scrap a 12x12 for the top photo for each month. I will keep it updated as I get it done.
